Taiwan (Taipei)- Ximending, Taoyuan Hotel, Bye bye Taiwan!

Jang Jang Jangg Jangggg~
This would be our last day in Taipei
Last day in New California Hotel
Would be changing to Taoyuan Hotel since it was nearer to the airport
Flying off the next morning
One more thing about Taiwan
I really think that they have good coffee
Bought several brands from the 7-11
Some had really good design which made you wanna buy the moment you saw it
Before we checked out
We took some pictures
They had some Xmas decorations at the hotel lobby
After we checked out from our hotel
I decided to go to Ximending
For last minute shopping
And also because it was the nearest place to spend our day
So many varieties of coffee beans!
They sold these (dim sum) in a bakery~
Passed by 7-11
Speaking of 7-11
Let me tell you how good their 7-11 was
From what I know
The prices in their 7-11 were quite cheap
They could call a cab for you and picked you up from there
There was one machine called i-bon which allowed you to purchase tickets for many things (eg. HSR)
Some had second floor where you could have your meal there
There was a microwave to help you heat up your food
They sold so many types of food (herbal eggs, steamboat materials, sausages, ice-cream etc)
I guess there were many more
It was just so convenient for everyone
In fact
I had several meals at 7-11 during my stay in Taiwan

We decided to have our lunch at a place which sold Mee Sua, rice dumplings etc
It was really crowded when we first went in
Everyone sat on a stool
So many people had to share one table as the place had limited tables
There was no place to put our bags and jackets
So I had to put them on my lap while eating
What an experience~
Lunch done
We went back to the Ximen Red House again
As they allowed visitors to go in this time (not sure why..perhaps there was exhibition?)
At the side of the Red House
Nian
Walking inside
All the brands
All the clothes had cats on it
The decoration of the store. It had the most number of people taking picture.
Another art piece in the hallway. Looked delicate~
Saw this in front of the staircase to second floor
Thought this looked cute~
At second floor.
Earrings and necklaces. Very creative~
Mona Lisa?!
A small mailbox
I like something like this. Simple. Unique. Elegant.
walking out from the Red House
Asked them to become my models
They're doing such a great job!
I had a great time at Ximen Red House
Historical
Artistic
Later
We went shopping at Ximending shop lots
Ximending was always crowded with people no matter what time you went
It was a very lively place

A Hello Kitty Car!! Can I drive it home?
It's dinner time
This would be our last dinner in Taipei before flying off the next morning
Guess what we had?
We had McDonalds!!! (Yes..It's McD..you didn't see it wrongly ^ ^)
That day was New Year's Eve as well
We chose that for our dinner so as to save time (fast food means it's fast..right?)
And avoid the crowd
Our driver Mr Lee were going to pick us up soon (we were changing to Taoyuan Hotel)
Laughed so hard at the video clip while waiting for other members to go for dinner
We love McD!!
Finally tried their McFlurry Oreo!
When we reached Taoyuan Hotel
Everyone was so so happy
First
Their service was good from the moment we stepped in their hotel
Second
They upgraded our rooms (Our rooms were very spacious)
Third
They had a really nice swimming pool and gym room (It's sad that we did not bring swim suits)
Fourth
They packed our breakfast for us knowing that we had to leave in the early morning (there were 3 breads inside and 1 soya drink)
The main entrance
The lobby
Looking for our rooms
Open the door and you will see...
Swimming pool!
The gym room. We couldn't find the switch.
So that was basically how we all celebrated our New Year's Eve
After sleeping for only 3 hours
Had to get up for our 7.10am flight
Feeling my head so heavy due to lack of sleep
Breakfast arrived!
All we could see was bread..bread..and bread~
We all thought 2 hours would be enough for all the procedures in the airport
Who knows
The counters for Malaysia Airline opened late
There was a long queue to check in our luggage and get our flight ticket
The worse thing was that we had to run all the way to the gate
It was my first time taking flight like this
We had to carry our backpacks and ran..ran...and ran!!!
Their system really sucks
It gave me a very bad impression!
I even heard people shouting and scolding at each other (probably due to the frustration)
By the time we reached the gate
It was exactly the closing time stated on our flight ticket
Phewwwww~~
We finally made it back home
Yayyyyyy~~~
Welcome home~
This trip was awesome, fun, and full of surprises
I will definitely go back to Taiwan again
Wanna tour the whole island next time
Hopefully there will be more trips in the future
Still have many places which I wanna see and experience
The end~
