Taiwan (Taipei)- Eslite Bookstore, Taipei 101, Ding Tai Fung, Ning Xia Night Market

Good morning!
Early in the morning
Saw these two fellas reading newspaper like this
So funny!
My OOTD
So this day we planned to go to the Eslite Bookstore
It is one of the largest retail bookstore chains in Taiwan
It also provides one of the largest English language publications and translation materials in Taiwan
We went to the headquarter in Xinyi District
we were at the hustle bustle city of Taiwan!
Feeling so good walking with my new boots
Finally reaching
The atmosphere was so different the moment you stepped in
No idea why they hung this skeleton in the bookstore
Me taking selfie in the bookstore
They even had this thing to charge your phones
Eslite Bookstore done
Next place was the Taipei 101
Taiwan trip would not be complete without seeing this landmark
Taipei 101 skyscraper has a height of 508 metres
It was completed in 2004 and remained as the world's highest building
Until Burj Khalifa in Dubai surpassed it in 2010
It offers visitors magnificent views over Taipei and the surrounding area
But we did not go up to the observatory deck
Only stayed in the shopping malls inside Taipei 101
Spot the Taipei 101 from far?
In front of the entrance
We wanted to try Ding Tai Fung
It has branches in Malaysia
Which I had tried before
But since it was originated from Taiwan
Isn't it a must to try it when I was there?
Rumour has it that it tastes even better in Taiwan!
So the first thing we saw at the restaurant was the crowd of people
They were all queuing up for the restaurant!
We actually went there earlier in the morning thinking of reserving a table for all of us
Too bad
It was on first come first serve basis
Knowing that there would be a huge crowd during lunch hour
We chose to go during 3pm
Still
There was a long queue
Eventually we waited for 40 minutes
All these people were on waiting list
Their service was very good
They provided us a place to put our jackets, bags, scarves
There would be waiters and waitresses to pour us tea from time to time
They were also very polite to everyone of us
It makes you feel good to dine in a place like this

My favourite Xiao Long Bao
Regarding Xiao Long Bao小笼包
They gave us a card teaching us the steps to eat it
I actually followed
Haha~
Zha Jiang Mian
The dessert
We had so many different dishes
But I was too hungry
So never captured all of them

We could see how they made the dumplings
After feeling full
We went for a walk outside
It was so windy
The last destination was the Ning Xia Night Market
It is a small and traditional night market
It is also located in one of the oldest parts of the city, in a small district called Datong
The food at the night market is of high quality
Most will be tasty
There are few stalls which are very popular
The more popular is the stall, the longer is the queue
We had to take MRT to Zhongshan Station and walked about 20 minutes
It was quite far from the station
Saw this Starbucks on our way there. Should have tried it!
This is actually a school!
After a long walk..finally!
Do you dare to eat this?
We queued up for this oyster omelette
Forgot the name of this but its some salad inside a fried bread
People already started queuing up before the stall opened
Basically
We just went to queue up whenever we saw a long queue in front of a stall
It was pretty fun
Most food that we bought ended up to be really delicious
After the night market
We walked back to the station again
Reached hotel quite early compared to other days
Had to plan our one day trip to Taichung tomorrow
Good night~
