Aussie trip Part 6 - Snowy mountain

Day 9   (15th May)
We said goodbye to our sheep in the morning
Headed to the snowy mountain
My mom and I were so scared that both of us could not stand the coldness there
Since the word 'snowy' indicated how cold the weather's gonna be
On the way to the snowy mountain
Reached the Kosciuszko National Park after about an hour drive
That place required entrance fee (expensive ! )
Sadly
It was not winter (July) yet
Since my mom and I went there in May
Therefore
The snow forming on the mountain was not thick enough
Playing snow.  Hehe.
Before my encounter with the REAL snow
I always thought that snow was as soft as cotton candy (imagination)
In reality, it's NOT
You can slightly feel the pain when someone throws a snow ball at you
But
It's FUN playing with the snow
Getting ready
We decided to drive to a higher place since there was little snow down there
The route was slippy and dangerous
However
We made it
Mount Kosciuszko
Mount Kosciuszko is the highest mountain in Australia
It's 2228m
Love the view so much

Time to build snowman.  Trust me.  It's hard ><

Snowy mountain was not that cold
This is due to the sunlight
 It's really amazing
You can feel the sun shining brightly at you without feeling hot at all
Rocklea road and Gloria Jean's coffee for tea time
Marshmallow, peanuts and tiny pieces of gummy bear coated by chocolate
Chinese dishes for dinner again
Something's different this time
There's a cool lady with us

Chiang Mai, Thailand-Art in Paradise 3D Art Museum, Wat Chedi Luang, Bye Chiang Mai

Good morning! This is our third day in Chiang Mai Going back the next day So gotta spend every second wisely! Since it was drizzling that morning We decided to go to the 3D Art Museum first as it was in indoor Which turned out to be the best decision 3D Art Museum features more than 130 3D paintings which is divided into 6 zones (underwater world, wildlife, Europe, East, Ancient Egypt, surreal arts and creatures millions of years ago) It was painted by a South Korean named Jang Kyu Suk Admission: 400 baht per person Opening hours: 9am-8.30pm (ticket office closes at 7pm) Address: No199/9, Changklan Road between Shangri La and Empress Hotel Warning: This post is going to be picture-focus. Taiwan- Chung Cheng Park, Keelung Market, Jinguashi Gold Ecological Park

The next day Our driver Mr Xun brought us to the Chung Cheng Park 中正公園 You can see the whole Keelung City (the harbor, sea, ships, mountain) at the observation deck Guan Yin Statue The Guan Yin statue is the landmark of Chung Cheng Park Inside the statue There is a steep staircase which lead you to the top where you can enjoy the view of the city I only managed to climb a few steps (it was very steep and scary) Went to the cannon fort Kept clicking the camera~ Taking a stroll Listening to Mr Xun's stories Enjoying the scenic view I really like how the trees look like during winter Saw so many doggies walking in the park Some slept on the grass for sunbathing!
