Dalat, Vietnam Day 2 - Xuan Hong Lake, Railway Station, Linh Phuoc Pagoda

Flying off to Dalat
We took the 6am flight
When we reached the domestic airport
We got a shock as most of the signs were in Vietnamese
And there was a huge crowd and very long queue
It was chaotic
We almost missed our flight
Luckily the crew called out our flight in front of the check-in counter
So we managed to skip the queue and went straight to check-in
Up up in the air

Sun rise. So beautiful~

There will be a shuttle bus outside of the airport (much cheaper compared to taxi)
Hop on the bus and it will take you to the Xuan Hong Lake and stop at a hotel near the lake
Then you can just get a taxi to go to your hotel

If you want a cup of coffee
Just cross the road and you will see Doha Cafe
Coffee first!

Exploring the lake. Blue sky blue lake.

Then we went to hotel to check-in first
Staying at a backpackers place

The shops outside our hotel

Dalat Railway Station

Timetable
We took the train to the Trai Mat Village
If possible
Buy your tickets early
To avoid having to pay more to sit in a more expensive couch (VIP)
Because thats what happened to us

On board of the train. Feeling very rustic. Love it!

On our way to Trai Mat Village

Walking to Linh Phuoc Pagoda

Linh Phuoc Pagoda

After that
We walked around the shop lots near our hotel and found this
Many locals were taking turns to take pictures
Thinking that it must be famous or good
We just went inside to try
Here for the famous Banh Mi

Very very delicious

Went to the night market

Saw some weird looking vege

Had my favourite avocado ice-cream! Local calls it Kem Bo

The temperature in Dalat dropped until quite low at night
For someone who is born in a country with no four seasons
I had to wear 2 layers
Its nice having ice-cream in a cold weather
Doing some people watching
Emptying my mind
Call it a day~
