Yangshuo, China Day 5 - Xianggong Mountain, Yulong River, Ten-mile Gallery

Yawn~
Its 4am in the morning
We were on our way to Xianggong Mountain to see sun rise
Driver drove for a few hours from Guilin City to Yangshuo
He parked the car at the bottom of the mountain
And we began hiking
It was still very dark
We had to use torch lights to climb up the staircase
After about 20-30 minutes
We finally reached the observation deck of Xianggong Mountain
Although the sun was not up yet
The view was mesmerizing
I couldnt believe my eyes

All cameras ready
We were lucky to see the beautiful view
In my opinion
It gave the best view of the whole Yangshuo
Camera cant do the justice
You have to really go there to see it yourself
But
We were also unlucky because we could not see sun rise and there was no clouds on that day
It was quite windy and cold up there
So do remember to bring a jacket and rain coat
Finally having our first meal of the day
Rice noodles for breakfast
Then
Driver took us for bamboo rafting at Yulong River
The experience was just so amazing
Not sure if it was my first time on a bamboo raft
But seeing those beautiful views along the ride was definitely my first time
It was so relaxing as compared to the motor boat ride at Li River
Our surrounding was just so tranquil
After that
Driver took us to another place called Ten-mile Gallery Yangshuo (Shili Hualang)
Every one of us rented bicycle
We were going to tour the place using bicycle
Riding a bicycle in a cold weather can be a really nice experience
Because you dont sweat at all

We were actually riding on the road where cars, tour buses or motorbikes would pass by
So have to stay alert all the time
And only ride on the side of the road unless you want to cross to the other side
Whenever we saw any nice scenery
We would just stop by the road side
And took lots of pictures

Then
It was time for our very late lunch

You Cha
After our late lunch
Driver took us to Guilin Station
We were going to take the high speed train back to Nanning
It was a really cold day in Guilin
Everyone was just so exhausted from all the sightseeing
Reached Nanning around 10pm at night
Had our super late dinner/supper at McD
The McD there was more expensive compared to Malaysia
As for the taste
Still prefer those in Malaysia
Haha Malaysian taste bud
Call it a day~
